Its hard to quantify exactly what it is that Luke has helped me with over the last couple of years.

Having started from such a low point to where I am now, the stages of progress have been gradual, but consistent. It isn’t until I look at the before and after progress pictures that I really grasp the scale of my achievement.

I remember from the first time I met Luke he made me feel comfortable, and assured me that whatever I wanted to do was possible, but that I was going to have to change my lifestyle. It sounded like a big effort at first, but he helped break it down in small steps – each of these adding to the grand idea that I’d end up bigger, stronger, better looking and more confident in myself. The first few weeks were tough but he insisted that I was improving and after a couple of months I could already see a big change from where I had started. Even at times where I didn’t believe I would be lifting anywhere close to the weight I am lifting today, he told me that I would be.

Now, two years down the line, I am heavier, I am leaner, I can lift three times as much as weight as when I started and my posture has improved. I have gained more confidence and I have a healthier diet. I am more outgoing, I have started participating in sports more regularly and I have more energy on a day to day basis.

Most importantly though, Luke introduced me to a better lifestyle, through him I’ve had great fun in the gym – and now spend at least 5 days a week working out, I’ve completed Rock Solid races, I’ve been to expos and met interesting people.

He always strives to make every workout new, interesting, fun and challenging. He’s sorted my diet out – not by restricting what I can eat, but by showing me what I can eat more of. I’ve consistently had a laugh with him for two years and enjoyed every minute of it (apart from walking lunges... walking lunges will be the death of me!!)

So, whilst it is easy to see that I’ve improved myself and my lifestyle over the last two years, it is hard for me to understand just how much has changed, because it has been such a drastic change.

Luke is an amazing trainer - knowledgable, gives you his full energy and attention, inspires you to push yourself, and is so easy to get on with! I wanted PT sessions, a nutrition plan and work out plan. I’m a vegetarian (admittedly picky as well) and travel a lot so was looking for really specific support. He was accommodating with my schedule, came up with a nutrition plan tailored to my needs and continually checked in for feedback.

I love the work out plan he created. I can do it while travelling, it works around/with my old injuries and I know I can stick with it over time which is really important to me - he’s put in variations as well for the next level!

I feel healthier, I feel stronger and I feel happier. I saw immediate results in the first couple of weeks and had a tonne of fun with all of the varied PT sessions (whilst dripping with sweat).

He makes you feel inspired and I know I can reach out any time with questions and for support. Could not be happier - thanks Luke!

Many people think if they eat less, they will lose weight!

Actually by eating less you are slowing down your metabolism and encouraging your body to store fat.

TRY THIS!

Eat More Every Day! Just spread your meals into smaller portions and eat more often. E.g. Up to 5 or 6 meal per day, instead of 3.

Try to consume a good balance of Protein (chicken, turkey, eggs, fish, steak, lentils);

Carbs (rice, rice cakes, oat cakes, sweet potato) and;

Veg (mix them up).

Snack on nuts like almonds and dried seeds for extra protein and energy.

Stay fully hydrated throughout the day NO EXCUSES!

Hiya Ladies & Gents! :D

Ok so for those of you who don't know me. My name is Luke Cole and I'm a fitness professional in Exeter, Devon. I really want to start by saying thank you for taking the time to view my website and are taking an interest in what we do!

I'm a keen believer that if you really look after your members and delve into what they really need as an individual, supporting their fitness journey, nutrition and lifestyle habits, then they will be far happier and willing to work harder to acheive their fitness goals. 

So let me introduce myself and tell you a little about what we do. We offer a very specialised service for people who struggle with motivation and need someone or other people to motivate them and to support them with their training. We guide them through and analyse diet habits and try to provide a long lasting lifestyle change for every individual who becomes part of the EQB Team!

We run outdoor fitness classes which are especially popular in the summer months, along with Personal Training packages for any individual wanting one to one guidance.
